Delicious dinner

Great food... I had the pumpkin ravioli special, and she had the tuna tartare. Both wonderful. Service was great.

Great Meals, Good Prices

Review Rating
Taste has a great selection of food and wine. It is not exactly one cuisine, but if I had to categorize it, I would say fusion. The last time I was there, I had macaroni and cheese with white truffle oil and a soba noodle and chili/honey glazed salmon filet with baby bok choi. The portions are large and affordably priced, but this is an accomplished restaurant. I have never had a problem walking up, so I don't think that reservations are a problem. There is an outdoor patio for dining and that seems to fill up first. Dessert and drinks were pretty good, too. It's good for dates or just a relaxing evening. No additude, either. Taste is reliable gem of a restaurant.

It takes deep pockets to hang at Koi or Mozza every night, as many a young scenester would love to do. For the deep pocket-impaired, there's Taste, the Melrose Avenue restaurant a stone's throw from Ago and Lucques. With a sweet little patio in front and a couple of minuscule but romantic dining rooms inside, you'd never guess that it used to be a funky shrimp shack. It just goes to show what a... more

In Short Unlike some of the nearby high-end restaurants (and shops, for that matter), this indoor/outdoor place is unpretentious and friendly. Velvet Nightlife is a web-site that allows you to tell Nightclubs in Hollywood what you are willing to spend for table service. The web-site works with club owners to help them reduce the amount of excess inventory that they have every night. It is not uncommon for a customer to be able to get VIP bottle service at many of Hollywood?s hottest clubs for a fraction of the normal cost. I got a... more

I went here for brunch and the portions were extremely bland and small. We waited for 10 mins as waiters and waitresses passed by our table without acknowledging us and we had to literally stop one of them to say we were ready to order. I got a breakfast burrito and basically the eggs had the consistency of a sponge and had absolutely no taste. I am not sure how this place got such a high... more
