I'm in Sonoma for work and I didn't want to pay a ton for dinner (a lot of places are 3+ dollar signs) I came across this little gem on here and it was close by so I thought why not? I'm so glad...

I don't think I've ever had Himalayan food, so if this place really is a taste of it, then it tastes just like the typical indian fare. With that said, it was THE BEST indian food I have had yet!...

Taste of Himalaya is a family-operated business serving Nepalese/Indian cuisine. Dishes include traditional Nepalese plates, curries and tandooris. Momo dumplings are the specialty, either vegetable or lamb. Owner Soba Sherpa originally came to Sonoma to visit friends, liked it and stayed. He has owned Taste of Himalaya since 2003.
