Nice place to stop. Stopped here for a real meal while driving up to Minnesota. The service was friendly and the food was good. The menu was fairly extensive, but we tried the battered bratwurst appetizer, the Wiener Schnitzel and the daily special of baked cod. I'd recommend the German Haus above any fast food.

I have traveled to Germany many times and the various German dishes served here are as good and authentic as you will find in this country. I highly recommend any of the schnitzels. They do serve sandwiches as well, but I stopped for the wonderful German food. The staff is extremely friendly, and the service was excellent. The salad is rather bland, but I really enjoyed the soup.

Everytime I'm in town, I always make it a point to come here for dinner.Their soup is really good.Especially the chicken dumpling.It's served every Tuesday.I had the veal with brown gravy last time I was there.It was perfectly fried.They also have a good selection of German beers.
