Chavez is closer to me, and better I think, but it's definitely not bad, and certainly feels more like a taqueria than the supermarket that Chavez is in.

The place serves authentic Mexican food. I had the steak super burrito which turned out to be more than I could eat. It was huge! You get a lot for what you pay for. Expect to be in a food coma afterwards.

One of the best burritos in NorCal. Grullense is a local institution. The burritos here are massive. Get the carnitas with guacamole.

The title says it all. If you want an authentic mexican taco come here. Great taste, great value, great taco. The tortas are great too. I'm sure everything else is good too it's just why fix what ain't broke and the tacos and tortas are the bomb!

I took a nap on Saturday and woke up with a great desire for real Mexican food. I started driving toward the warmer weather and ran into a place I had driven by many a time but never went in. The name of the taqueria is Grullense and its on El Camino Real in redwood city ca.
