"Variety" is the name of the game at this Northfield taparia and its Lakeview sequel where "classic Spanish ingredients" add an "authentic" touch to a "great selection" of "well-prepared" small plates and paellas; decor might be merely "passable" and service veers between "awesome" and "lacking", but "reasonably priced" wines and overall moderate tabs help make up for it.

service was horrible and food was mediocre and it took forever to get our food. we will not come back again and certainly not recommend this restaurant

We were quite surprised at being the only diners on this weekday evening. Some of the usual menu highlights were not available. The service was excellent but the food was not as good as i remember it.
