I have for years been told by Doctors I should check myself into a sleep disorder program. My snoring was causing my spouse to consider her own room. Sleep was getting harder and harder to come by. Than I had my first real wakeup, heart problems. After weeks of testing, testing and more testing I was informed that I needed to consider a sleep disorder program. I was skeptical of the entire field of sleep study, but that skepticism vanished on being treated by Dr. Ackerman and his staff. Very skilled and knowledgeable. Staff is highly trained and very competent. Sleep lab is like a nice hotel room, not a clinical or hospital setting. Turns out I have apnea and narcolepsy, and my daughter has narcolepsy as well. We've both received effective therapies to improve our quality of life dramatically. Bonus: He is a stickler for time, and you are never kept waiting for very long..15 minutes or so at the most.
