INCREDIBLE RESTAURANT! Very pleasing to the senses! We have traveled the world in search of "Best of Sushi" We have all come to the UNANIMOUS decision that the west coast has a new Winner! Takami transcends the discriminate to a whole new platform. Takami is tasting sushi- the way sushi should be Experienced. Went to Takami for the first time last week and it was their anniversary. I can't believe I just heard about this place. It's at the top of a high rise in downtown with awesome views and good food. It's about the same price as most sushi places (about $40/person). I am going back for sure.
I just stumbled into this place in an awkward office building in Downtown. Once we got up there and the world changed. Felt like we were blasted to New York. We have been back 3 times in the last month. The food, service, and people are great. The prices are a little more than the Kabuki's out there, but the food is not comparable. Now, we can't go back to our usual sushi spot since we crave Takami ...
