From a serious Brazilophile and caipirinha conoisseur, Taino's bartender really knows how to make that lime-y delicious drink!!
Also, Taino's got a nice vibe, friendly & attentive service, and it's super easy to get to (A,C,F; 2,3; 4,5; M,R all within three or four blocks).
Great afterwork spot or place to chill w/friends.

Taino Soleil has the best caipirinha and empanadas I have ever tried in downtown Brooklyn. Now they will offer once a month 2 kinds of Feijoada, vegetarian and non vegetarian (the Brazilian National dish) and live brazilian music and dance every Saturday. Wow, it will be my favorite restaurant in Brooklyn.

This is a real nice dinner spot if you like Latin food, drink and ambience. I work in the area and am a mojito junkie and as far as I am concerned these are the best mojitos and caipirinhas around.
