I've been to other horse riding stables in San Diego and LA. This stable is in another league! The customer service was great starting with Loretta who actually gave me one of her own jackets to wear (it was one of the few really cold days in SD) on the trail ride. If you are looking for a dusty, hot nose to tail walk this is for you. Loretta was not a very friendly hostess at all and although we arrived when Sweetwater (poorly) advertised opening (8:30 a.m.) we had to call them at 8:45 a.m. from the Welcome Center then watched and waited when the hostess arrived and sat in the office listening to her phone messages before she could help us to finally... more

I am an older woman who has just recently started taking ridding lessons...

Both the instructors and staff are very caring and patient in dealing with both young and older riders.. New skills are learned with every lesson..Safety for both rider and horse gives one the confidence you need. Both the horses and staff are very well cared for.
