The staff here are GREAT! I live in the neighborhood and wouldn't step foot in this place a few years ago, but they have completely remodeled and cleaned this place up. It's now my my local bar. The BBQ is really good and really cheap. They also have BINGO and Pub Trivia, which I love. AND THEY HAVE BUCK HUNTER SAFARI!! And they have the coldest beer in town. You should check it out!

The floor plan has been remodeled and lots of tables and chairs brought in. They have games like bingo and stuff, taco nights and BBQ. The well drinks are still a bit high for the area but the bartenders are friendly and the owners are good people. Pull tabs are there and they keep board games and have a book corner. The happy hour is a good bargain (try the mini sliders) for both drinks and food and there is an upcoming BBQ sauce contest in late Sept to gear up for with live music being provided. I think they have a facebook site for all the events. Check it out

Greenwood's best neighborhood pub! Formerly known as the Sundown Saloon, and more recently Sweet Lou's, the Lamplighter Public House is one of the oldest continually operating bars within the Seattle city limits since prohibition. Come check us out!
Formerly known as the Sundown Tavern, Sweet Lou's is a great neighborhood hangout with friendly people and in-house smoked barbecue. You can also pick up farm-fresh South Alderwood eggs: They've sold them for years, more than 18 dozen a week. The price: $2.75 a dozen.
