Relocated to Livingston, this "inviting" New American BYO is still serving up "high-quality" brunches (and more) to "ladies who lunch" and others in a "cozy", "bistro-style" space; some find the new surrounds "noisier", but prices remain "reasonable" and service steady, making it an overall "welcome addition" to the neighborhood.

Went to Sweet Basil’s Cafe this (Sunday) morning for breakfast with my husband. As always the place is bustling and lively. We each ordered our favorite meals despite the tempting “daily specials” offering. Why mess with perfection, right? My husband always gets the Pear French...

The owner is not pleasant and I would not go back there

The food is okay, and sometimes, very good, but the attitude of the owner is a real turnoff. I would not go back there because of his attitude...not to his customers, but to his help. I don't know why they would let someone treat them...

Great comfort food

The service is quick and efficient. The helpings are large. Three members of our group could not eat the entire dish. The food was well cooked and tasty. Great place for family outings.

Visited this breakfast place a few weeks ago and liked the food even though it was a bit expensive. Came back for Father's day brunch and found the menu looked different and the prices seemed higher. I checked their website menu and found they jacked...

I had a turkey avocado wrap. Very good and well presented. My wife had a crab cake salad. She thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was excellent. Free refill of lemonade and coke.
