This is the best restaurant for Thai cuisine and sushi in the Cincinnati area! Far better than Teak and Lemongrass, Sweet Basil offers a friendly atmosphere with high-quality, freshly-made Thai dishes that are absolutely delicious. Pad See Ew, Pad Kee Mao, Pepper Garlic, and Duck Curry are among my favorites. The sushi bar is excellent, and extremely fresh. The owner is the sushi chef, and will offer up great conversation while you sit at the sushi bar. There are some very tasty rolls on the menu. My favorites include New York (tuna, spicy mayo, avocado, and tempura flakes), Mona Lisa (smoked salmon, avocado, crab, spicy sauce, kiwi, and sweet sauce), and the Crazy Horse (smoked salmon, cream cheese and avocado, all tempura-fried and served warm).This restaurant is highly recommended! My husband and I go at least once a week - look for us at the sushi bar!

When the food is good, the food is good! When the kitchen is off, the food is horrible!! To go orders are usually skimpy. Rice carton is not full, Too much spice and dish is not full. You get home all excited to eat your food then BAM!!!
