Had Exactly What I Wanted
I was on a quest for a Capresso H2O Plus water-boiling kettle and everyone on the 'net was out of stock. On a recent trip to Seattle, I went into this Sur la Table store (had never been in one before) and they had about 8 of the kettles in stock. I made the purchase and had them ship it to my home. What a helpful staff and satisfactory shopping experience! And what a fun store. I just wish there was one nearer to my home.

As you approach this wonderful museum, look for the 40-foot-high red-and-white milk bottle out front -- and for children and their chronological-adult companions racing each other to the entrance. The under-11 set is the target audience for this delightful museum, but it appeals to the little kid in everyone.
Gourmet cooks should be sure to visit Pike Place Market's Sur La Table, where every imaginable kitchen utensil is available. There are a dozen different kinds of whisks, an equal number of muffin tins, and all manner of cake-decorating tools, tableware, napkins, cookbooks -- simply everything a cook could need. By the way, this is the original Sur La Table.
