What the community has to say about Superfine

Information about this business (10)

If you like listening to live music while you have a drink at the bar alone or at the table with company, then head to this fine (or Superfine?) restaurant and bar in Brooklyn. The Mediterranean inspiration finds itself to the brunch here as well. Ask for the Southwest cuisine items as well as the wine list. Have a good meal with delicious American food, a fine glass of wine and lovely music...

An art gallery or maybe not an art gallery this is the product of Steve Butcher and Anna Cosentino, a painter and former event manager, respectively. Since it shares an interactive relationship with its patrons, Spring has a touch unique only to itself. Visit a hoard of art exhibits by some of the most skilled artistes in the city. Check website for more details.

Serving beautiful plates of food, prepared with locally sourced ingredients in a community built environment since 1998.

Editorial reviews from the web (7) view all

Mexico is much more than sombreros and guacamole and Dumbo’s Escondido finally gives New Yorkers a place to buy quality pieces brought straight from the Oaxaca region of Mexico. Tucked inside the maze of shops in a former factory, the boutique is full of black pottery, folk art sculptures, handmade paper kites, and jewelry, including pieces inspired from Frida Kahlo. For those who forget to exchange your pesos after a little Mexican adventure, Escondido accepts them along with dollars.

"Dumbo's darling" really is "supah-fine" say denizens who savor the Mediterranean fare featuring "fresh, locally sourced" ingredients and "unique" cocktails, served by a "friendly" staff; the vibe is "funky" in the "cavernous" converted warehouse space that includes an art wall that changes frequently and an "always-fun" antique pool table.

We got there early. Got a good table in the back. Had a lovely dinner. The bar got really, really noisy quickly. No harm, no foul. Just glad that we got there when we did. Oh...and the apple pie was amazing!!!!!!!

Had dinner and watched a live fire dancing/circus show here, and it was a blast. Drinks options were decent, service was great, and the vibe was relaxed and friendly. Food was a bit greasy, and only one vegan/vegetarian dinner option. Drinks and show were totally worth it though.
