All things considered, this is a solid hotel. It's Days Inn - not Marriott or any other 4-5 star property. It's a solid 3 star. We stayed 2 nights here for the marathon and some R&R time. The property is centrally located to just about everything in Carlsbad - of course, Carlsbad is small so....

By the freeway but noise wasn't a problem since we stayed in one of the rooms in the back of the hotel. Near Legoland, beach, downtown. Very clean. Breakfast is simple.

This is my go to hotel when I'm at our Carlsbad office. Solid hotel for the traveller who just needs to sleep someplace at a reasonable price.
