Nice hotel, with noisy amenities

The hotel itself, as well as the room, was very nice and exceptionally clean and shiny. It would have been enjoyable except for the loud blower on the air conditioner, and a small fridge that made an even louder contribution about every 15-20 minutes. The windows, of course, were sealed, so unless the blower was on the room was stifling. Wish I had asked if the noise level was the same in all...

If you absolutely have to stay in Alturas, then ok

We were disappointed that Super 8 - Alturas was not up to the standards of other Super 8 hotels. That said, your choice of hotels in the area are very limited and for a short overnight stay this hotel is ok.
