We posted a rug on Craigslist for $550 and we have been contacted by Jeff Rafter. He sent us a very strange check of $1450 saying that the difference was for the shipment (he arranged a private shipper for the pick up).I asked why the name on the check was different from his and he told us that his secretary made the check because he was very busy.It sounded strange to me so I got a look around...

This person contacted us through Craigslist to buy a dining room set for $400.00-sent us a check by Fed X for $1400.00 and asked us to give the remainder of the money to the person picking up the furniture.  I took the check to my own bank and they called Citibank and it said the funds were not available for deposit.  So, I went ahead and called Citibank and spoke to a person and she said it...
