AC sucks, but the small nature of the place and interesting folks behind the counter make up for it all. quirky is a good word for this hole in the wall.

Fantastic Sandwich Place

Average Rating

Walk down a quaint little alley off of 9th St. NW and you arrive at SundeVich. An unassuming little place with great selection of high quality sandwiches which range from the Shiraz with beef tongue to Seoul w. bulgogi. I've tried Seoul, Buenos Aires, Kingston, & Zurich and we only discovered this earlier this week. So far it has been...

Sundevich is located in a funky little alley near the intersection of 9th and N St in DC. You probably wouldn't even notice it unless you were looking for it. When you enter, the space is small but it has a very hip vibe.
The sandwiches are pretty great and there is a variety to pretty much please everyone. I...

Interesting Sub Varities -- Unique Flavors

Average Rating

A mixed bag. Some subs better than others. Cramped, crowded, and loud music but unique flavors you're...

Cute place, scary area

Business description (1)

Sundevich is one of the best places in the city to stop for a quick bite on a busy working day. Its location in an alley may not make it the easiest to find, but once here the efforts taken to find the place will definitely seem worth it. Prepared with French-style baugettes, the sandwiches served here are packed with a wide range of flavor and texture that an absolute delight to the...
