Based in the 1st floor of the old historic Hotel Marshall, their breakfast and ESPECIALLY their lunches are as close to home cooking as you will find, outside of your mom's kitchen, cornbread, gravy, rolls, mashed potatoes, the menu goes on and on! I must stop if you want home cooking!

We had lunch here today for the first time, and we'll definitely be back! We had a meat 'n three plate (which we shared). The canned green beans were a bit sweet, but the tea wasn't too diluted, and the homemade cornbread and rolls were wonderful. Check hours of operation but go here when you're tired of fast food. If you want a home cooked, blue plate special, this is the only place in Marshall to go! The food is incredible, and Mr. CJ and Ms. Patsy are the best hosts ever. He is a one-man show. You can eat the best rolls in town and get entertained too! Their pies are to die for - big old coconut...
