In Short
Lodged in close proximity, Stone Soup Kitchen is like if neighboring Ria’s Bluebird was reinvented on a retro movie set. Cozy two-person booths, a chalkboard scrawled with specials and a grab-n-go pantry make this time-warp breakfast/sandwich shop an instant classic. Minutes after my first visit, I was kicking myself for not trying Stone Soup earlier. I've been eating breakfast there weekly now for the past two months and it's always the best part of the day: never a line; fast, friendly service; and excellent brunch fare. I've not been for lunch yet, but can't imagine it's anything but delicious. Wish I had time to grab The Gambler Sandwich right now!

read the reviews and decided to try something different. the food was good but the portions on the sandwiches were very small for the price, i had the chicken salad with the tomato soup, the soup was very good( go for the 8oz its very filling) but the sandwich had a dab of chicken salad in a large slices of wheat bread. if your close would be a good change of pace.

the perfect place to come home to...
