I am a picky vegetarian.
We recently took a trip to Florida. Traveling as vegetarians, we have learned that the key to finding good vegetarian friendly restaurants is to stop at a coffee shop and ask where to eat. While driving through Nashville we tried to find numerous coffee shops, but our gps nav was sending us on wild goose chase after wild goose chase. We almost gave up, when we happened upon Stillwaters Cafe. I left the wife and kid in the car, and went in to grab a coffee and some dining advice. Instead I grabbed a coffee and a menu. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised to find multiple options for picky vegetarians. It was the best meals I have had. The owner and the cook were both incredibly friendly. The "hot bella sandwich" was mouthwatering. The cold fruit tea that they brewed on site was tasty and refreshing, and the spicy potato salad (sorry, forgot the exact name) could win an international potato salad award. We will definitely go out of our way to stop by Stillwaters Cafe the next time we vacation down south.
