I love the double, the Chicago style hot dog, and their shakes! I can get a root beer float or a cherry coke. Two of my faves! The portabella mushroom burger is delish.

They close the lobby at this location at 2am. Caught me and a friend by surprise because we know of other locations with 24 hour lobbies. Other than the lobby mix up the one day everything is just okay. You get what you pay for and expect. I never really go during busy hours or anything so I have never really had to wait too long.

It really is hit or miss with the food at Steak n shake. Unfortunately, instead of indulging in my usual milk shake happy hour, I ordered a steak burger and fries.Both felt like they were room temp and my bread was a little soggied.My friend became sick to the stomach about 2 hours after eating his burger.Sorry, SNS, "L" on both the burgers and the fries this time.
