Management/Ownership was not willing to take ANY responsibility

***The Below incident happened the week of April 21, 2008. They did not respond to the Better Business Bureau by June 15, 2008. Spoke with Ownership 6/19 and did not offer any sort of help in the situation***

I dropped off my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee on Monday, April 7 due to a "grinding sound" on my vehicle. I explained to them that I would like them to look over the vehicle and let me know what the noise was, as well as any other issues with the car. After review Station automotive called an told me that the car needed new front break rotors, break pads on all 4 wheels, there was a hydraulic system issue, a leaky transmission pan gasket and the power steering was leaking. I stressed to them that it was an old car and that I did not want to put money into something that I would not have much longer. I asked them to fix the break issues (as they told me this was the grinding noise) and the hydraulic issue. I would wait on the others, as they assured me that these would fix the problems that I brought it in for. I picked up the car after paying $751 to them for the parts and service on the breaks & hydraulic system. With that they said everything else was minor and would not have to worry about it & the grinding was fixed. Upon driving home, I realized that my speedometer & RPM gage was not working, and there was still a grinding noise.
When I called them back they said to bring it in for them to look at. Once back in the next day, they said that they had drained the battery while working on it and it caused the jeep to "reset" and it needed to be "Flashed" by Jeep. Additionally, the grinding noise they said was caused by a bad bearing. They stated that they could not fix the speedometer (only jeep dealership could), and did not have an explanation as to why they had not told me about the issue with my bearing. I called jeep and they told me that it would cost $110 for me to get it "Flashed" and a day at the shop. Feeling that everything was not right, I took the car to a friend's shop. They took the car for the day and told me that there were numerous issues with the car still. The transfer case was bad, the steering column was bad, and a few smaller issues. This work would be almost $3,000. I decline and paid $80 for the car inspection.

I have now called 3 times and talked with the manager, Santana, about my situation. The first two times I was able to speak with him he told me that he needed to talk with other people before he would let me know, but would call me back. I told him my issues and he said that he would "make it right", even asking what I wanted. After not hearing from him for 3 days, I called again. This time he would not take my call and did not call me back."

I took my 94 BMW to them after they bought out my old mechanic. I paid for a full tune and later found out they used the wrong spark plugs for my car.

I had a window fixed and they did not put the door panel back on correctly. Took it back 2 more times and they never put it on right.

I was charged for things that were not done. Once I was charged for an oil change that I didn't ask for. I... more

I found Station, formerly Bolts, through a recommendation from a friend. They're always honest about the repairs my car needs and their prices are very competitive. They'll give recommendations for car maintenance, but won't pressure you into make any unnecessary repairs. They're even willing to give you a quote over the phone (timing belt, brakes). They're honest and I appreciate that.

I took my high mile Tahoe to the South Broadway location for an alignment. I specifically told the manager to call me if they see anything else wrong with the vehicle. Due to the mileage, I'm not interested in putting a lot of money into repairs.

They kept the vehicle all day long as opposed to two hours. I picked it up and drove down the street only to find the vehicle was not aligned at... more
