One of the oldest and best preserved state capitols in the United States, the Vermont State House is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Guided tours are available on the half-hour, July through mid-October, Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and on Saturdays 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Group tours must be scheduled in advance during the summer and fall tourist season.
