Casual, Southern Breakfast & Lunch

I have been to the State Famers Market Restaurant a dozen times or so over the past several years. It is what I consider to be so-so overall. The biscuits are really delicious --- fluffy on the inside with just a little crunch on the outside. I don't usually eat molasses on my biscuits, but I do here, and it...

Customer Service Lacking

My wife and I stopped in for breakfast and we were disgusted with the service and the quality of the food wasn't great either. You wait to be seated but they don't have a full time hostess. Finally, the cashier came and took us to be seated, but he sits us at a table that hasn't been wiped off. I...

We live closer to the Piedmont Triad Farmer's Market in Colfax, NC so we had never been to the State Farmer's Market in Raleigh. Wow! Can't wait to go back. The vendors were exceptionally friendly and helpful and their products were top-notch!

I visited the farmers market today for lunch. I ordered the BBQ chicken and a couple of sides. It was a nice day so I was able to eat outside and enjoy the weather. The staff were all friendly and attentive.

So So

My waitress was sweet and...

This market is a watercolor painting come to life; row upon row of bushels full of green peppers, purple eggplant, red tomatoes, yellow squash and so much more. It's a treat for the eye and the stomach as local vendors hawk their wares with samples, offering a luscious chunk of peach or watermelon. After you've stocked up on produce, stroll to sections selling plants and flowers, confections...
