Star Shoes

From the same club gurus who run Beauty Bar around the corner, Star Shoes is a combo shoe store and dance club. It's usually packed with trendy young crowd who bump around the narrow dance floor while a projectionist plasters the walls with vintage celluloid (a stony effect). The scene here is far more energetic than the Beauty Bar, and the DJs are among the best in town.

FUN BAR

Ive been going to Star Shoes for YEARS so thought I would just drop in a quick line to say how much of a cute, fun and DIFFERENT bar this is. Drinks are stiff (thats a GOOD thing!) and they are priced good. If you are more into Hip Hop, R&B, etc. dont go here because you will not be hearing it.. they play 60's soul, 70's funk, just interesting and unique music. The place is really small and gets REALLY packed on Fri/Sat nights. I dont consider it a CLUB.. more like a BAR. If you are universal with your music interests, like to people watch (cause there are definitely some characters here)...

Star Shoes is a cocktail lounge and vintage shoe salon on Hollywood Boulevard. The lounge is open nightly from 9pm to 2am. DJs perform nightly.

This one-of-a-kind shoe haven has a dance floor and serves luscious cocktails. Ultra chic and mostly crowded, it is here that Hollywood newcomers and the crème-de-la-crème party. While shoes are USD130 upwards, the Joseph LaRose styles are priceless. If you've had enough of sole searching, take your martini and be seated. The music is good company too.
