This owner has two restaurants, and this one is second best to his other one. His better place is called Stanich's East, and I think the burgers there are one of the best in Oregon. It's a sports bar. The food here doesn't hold up the other's standards. I give his other place an excellent rating.

Get ready for the best burger you have ever had!! My Mom has been taking me there since I was a kid. They have burgers, beer or soda, and homemade yummy salty fries. I'd been to Stanich's once before, and despite the lousy (perhaps remotely charming) ""sports pendant"" environment, I had a very good burger. A year or so later, I convinced a friend to go there with me. There were two other couples who walked in at the same time. First there was nobody to seat us - eventually someone sitting eating at the bar instructed us to go sit at a dirty table as she spat out the burger she was gobbling down on.
