I had read reviews on this hotel before my stay, and most of them were negative, but I wanted to keep an open mind and give this hotel a chance. Let me first start off on a positive note. The hotel, across from the HardRock Hotel is absolutely the worst experience of my over 30 years of travel to Vegas. I was convinced by a reservation service to give the St. Tropez a try. When I had initially booked this hotel it was rated at 4 stars and the pictures we saw made it look very fancy with a hot tub in the room and a very large room in very good shape. This was fictional. No hot tub just a large tub that wouldn't even fit two people much less more as the pictures made it look. The room was small. The jacuzzi outside was dirty, the pool needed repair. the carpeting...

unless you like dim light bulbs hiding visibly soiled carpeting, dirty walls, a/c wall unit on inside wall hanging out of space cut out for it. it was absolutely disgusting and how it gets 3 diamonds on the yahoo site is anyone's guess
