The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. Great photo op. Services were being conducted while we were there, it is much bigger than it seems.
First time in Phoenix, first time to attend mass in this Basilica. It was big, clean, organized and quiet, very conducive for hearing Sunday mass. Children had their own session elsewhere during the homily.

A fabulous example of a 19th-century church still celebrates Mass daily in downtown Phoenix. Originally built in 1881, notable features include beautifully rendered stained glass windows and a carillon tower. Honored as a minor basilica in 1985.
