I highly recommend this park! I've visited many parks in the Seattle area and this is one of my favorites. This park is great for singles and for families. There's an awesome play area for the kids, hiking trails for all levels, greenery and picnic areas. There's nice hikes to the lake and the scenery is very pretty. It's also...

Great park for an afternoon hike

This wooded park includes 14 miles of trails. Many allow biking, all allow hiking. My dog loves it, though she must remain on the leash at all times. There is a community built play structure that the kids love. The empty dorm of the former catholic seminary is an architecturally interesting building. Have your St. Park pass on display as...

Located in Kenmore, bordering Lake Washington and Juanita Drive. Nice hikes with few hikers. I'm glad the State of Washington hasn't sold this property for commercial use.

Know Before You Go

Be sure to take the Grotto trail down to Saint Edward Grotto, a secluded garden once used by priests at the seminary. It's so beautiful that it has become a popular setting for weddings.
