Help us make it rightThis is located in the quaint downtown area of Mckinney TX. The burgers aren't square but they are made from fresh local ingredients (including meat = butcher is approx 2 blocks away...and the meat is free of hormones/etc). These are not fast food burgers - the quality and taste found here cannot be compared. And don't forget to sample the sweet potatoe fries too. This is definitely worth the...
The burgers are OK. am not a fan of the burger. The buns are too dry for me. On one occasion, it broke into dry pieces. The meat was over cooked for my preference. The staff was nice enough on both occasions. but the overall point is burger. I won't be back for that.
We headed down to “The Square” on a rainy day to take in some “Scare on the Square” activity…but before that we ate at the much lauded Square Burger!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We are here during Oktoberfest, there are children everywhere. I'm a brand new mom, and this is one of our first family outings. We asked for a seat,...
Square Burger is located at 115 N Kentucky St, Mckinney, TX. This business specializes in Restaurants.
Grass-fed, dry-aged beef is the star at this outstanding burger spot (that’s more than a burger spot) on the square in McKinney, where chef Craig Brundege is a Spago Beverly Hills alum. Besides the burgers and fries, the mac and cheese is also terrific; so are sous-chef Ngoc Ngo’s desserts. Full bar.

Burger joint housed in a historic 1929 art deco building that was once a dry-goods store. Chef: Craig Brundege Sous-chef: Ngoc Ngo
We love that Empire Baking Company supplies the buns and that the locally raised, dry-aged, house-ground Genesis beef is antibiotic and hormone-free. Are we feeling optimistic about this new kid on the block in McKinney's downtown square? Definitely.
