Springville, 10 miles south of Provo on I–15 or U.S. 89, is known for its support of the arts, and its museum is a must-stop for fine-arts fans. Built in 1937 to accommodate works by John Hasen and Cyrus Dallin, the museum now features mostly Utah artists, among them Gary Lee Price, Richard Van Wagoner, and James T. Harwood. It also has a collection of Soviet working-class impressionism and a...

The art of Utah is the cornerstone of this fine museum, housed in part in a 1937 Spanish Colonial Revival-style building. The museum contains one of the finest displays of Utah art available, arranged in chronological order to illustrate the development of art in the state. Lovely

The Springville Art Museum is a lovely venue for events. We have held weddings, receptions and business affairs there and have always been amazed at how beautiful it is.
The only draw back is some of the docents who take their work "seriously" and make you feel uncomfortable at times. They could use some training on social skills and friendliness.

The quilts were beautifully displayed and they were a wonder to see! The museum provides a Quilt Location Guide to show the...

This museum is a good stop for the whole family. The focus is on Utah artists. The permanent collection also carries some excellent Russian works that are very emotional.
The various rooms in the museum offer a natural break between collections which is nice particularly if you have kids along.
There are many traveling exhibits during the year--Spring Salon, Christmas,...

Absolutely the neatest museum I have been to. A lot of different kinds of art. Plan on spending the day. They were very nice. No fee to enter, just a donation if you want.
