I am in my second session of Beginner classes. I feel I have learned a lot and learned it very quickly too. My teacher is very knowledgeable and has been a great teacher. She is a native speaker but also has teaching experience. The class sizes range from 1-10 people depending on how many people sign up. I started with another student and now I am by myself. I am a returning student at the Spanish Language Center. I took classes with them at their lakeview location for almost 2 years when they first opened. My experience was the best (as I did post an earlier review), then I did some traveling to practice my Spanish, got lazy, took a break from classes, and when I decided to come back to Spanish classes in 2006, I decided to explore other options...

I took 2 classes with SLC, and was very lucky to have senor Juan Cortez as my teacher. After my introduction course, I felt that my Spanish skills definitely improved, therefore my decision to continue with the beginners course. Great classes, good materials, flexible schedule as far as re-scheduling if your agenda didn't work out. Will recommend to everyone who's interested in the Spanish...
