I like Korean food and was staying in Foster City for some time and couldn't go too far. Service is decent but food is just OK. It tastes watered down, too sweet. I've tried a variety of food over the period: grilled ribs, cold buckwheat noodle, spicy rice cake , sauteed squid, and of course, soft tofu stew. Over and...

Too pricy for its setting and food

Just visited this place and I had a sticker shock. Compare to the Korean restaurant in Marina center in foster city where both restaurants have similar settings and the quality of food is similar. But this place is pricier. Compare to Kaya in Belmont, the setting of this place is not as nice and food quality is not as good....

Soon Tofu is fabulous. Their menu is extensive and delicious. I LOVE their banchan. In addition to the normal staples they always have an assortment of the rarer bites. I especially love their cucumber kimchi. The staff goes out of the way to be helpful if you are not familiar with their menu, but they give you space if you know Korean dishes.
