Sonny was best known for his love of good times, good pints, and good friends. An endless storyteller, Sonny loved to talk and tell tales. Many people joked that Sonny was a true Irishman and full of Blarney. Sonny's laughter could fill the room and his smile was contagious. A fan of Big Band and Irish music, Sonny could cut a mean rug and danced many an Irish jig during his life. A...

Now, if you're from Boston, you come here. An entire city block away from The Shack, but with so much mentality in common. Patriot games and those hunting for Good Will. Sip stout, talk Sox. Play foosball, get drunk, sing Eagles songs in karaoke. Do whatever it is that you Massholes do, which we'd like to suggest should include going back home. Just playing with you Celtics. We love it, plus we...

No hard liquor, but there's plenty of beer to fill a frosty mug at this Westside pub.

Black-and-white photographs of old Ireland hang next to vintage beer and cigarette ads at this Irish pub, where bartenders have been known to pour a thick pint of Guinness with...

This is the place to catch your favorite sports teams on air. I used to frequent this spot back in my UCLA days. I went back yesterday to experience the nostalgia of those days. It was the...

Pretty sure the whole idea of duckin' into an Irish pub is for comfort, great conversation and a nice pour. Pour: Nothing good on tap. Crap actually. Flat...

I've been going to Sonny's for over 15 years and I am bummed to say that I may not be going back. Maybe it was the day we were in, I don't know, but things...

Got a piece of home while in California. Boston themed bar with a great beer selection and great atmosphere. We went on a night with karaoke and was a great crowd (I believe it was a Wednesday night). All the bar patrons were very friendly and service was fairly quick even with the crowd. Would go back.

Business description (2)

Is it Boston or is it LA? Is it the set of Cheers? Sometimes it's hard to tell in this low key, Irish sports bar, as whenever a Patriots or Red Sox game is on one of their 22 TVs, the place fills with Boston expatriates

This cozy and welcoming brew pub is a favorite with locals, and it offers 20 beer choices on tap, an extensive variety of bottled brews, dart boards, a pool table, air hockey in a back room, and television to keep up with, primarily Boston-based, sporting events. The generous menu features traditional Irish fare, as well as New England and American favorites.
