Great chowder and sandwiches. Prices were reasonable. We sat outside on the deck and a couple of times wondered if our server forgot about us. Especially when you see others arrive and start their meals before you do.

look, eating in Alaska is expensive, period, but my husband and I had lunch here off our cruise ship and the food was awful.................the seafood chowder had enough oil floating on top for a salad, 2 lousy sandwhich's a tea and 70 dollars for lunch was Just a pure waste.......................Don't go!!

We stopped by today for a quick lunch on the outside deck on a nice sunny day in Sitka. The service was efficient and the food was quite good. The chowder, in fact, was very good and rich with clams.

I think the prices seemed like they knew it was tourists coming to lunch, but the food was pretty good. My friend and I got chowder, fish eggs rolls (sounds gross but they were actually ok) and fish and chips. The interior is not amazing but it was a great central location as we strolled through town.

We ate here twice - once for dinner when we arrived in Alaska and then for breakfast a week later on our way home. Two very different experiences although in both cases the food was excellent.
