Service at this place was insanely slow even though they weren't that busy. I saw the owners laughing it up with their buddies while my wife and I sat waiting for our drinks. The owners buddies got their drinks and chips before we did even though they came in 20 minutes after us. We talked to some of the workers and they told us the owners have never owned a resturant before and don't know what they are doing. The menu has spelling errors and some items didn't even have prices. I guess they thought they could open a trendy place in a nice neighborhood and rip rich people off. I will be shocked if this place is open in 6 months. Didn't get a chance to try any of the food b/c we were out the door after half an hour and never even got our silverware, but now that I think about it, I am glad I didn't eat here b/c if they can't get their act together with service I can't imagine whats going on in the kitchen.
There was certainly no need to have made a reservation here - the place was empty. The outside patio had looked so uniting, but the traffic on Hillcrest Rd was so loud it was almost impossible to have a conversation. The dinner selections were not flavorful and the service was abysmal. I think that sums it up.
With a choice of many good area restaurants - if one is just fair, you dont go back. While the food was good, the restaurant was almost empty on Mothers Day. Even so, the waiter was slow and we were sat in an undesireable table location by a hostess who knew we wanted to sit elsewhere! Overall slow and the waiter couldnt remember who ordered what.
