Friendly knowledgeable staff, unpretentious unassuming local feel has everything you want and nothing you don't. Hard to find high end painting surfaces and supplies at descent prices without all the hassle and useless garbage found at the 'big box' art stores such as Pearl and Dick Blick.

Glad I was referred to them, will always shop there from now on.

This place is pretty close to the more popular Pearl Paint. But that can work to your advantage. The staff is knowledgeable of their inventory so you won't be looking for something that's already sold out. However, Soho Art is small compared to Pearl Paint so I would suggest trekking over there when you can't find what you need at Soho Art. But only as a last resort. With the amount of people... more

I like this art supplies store, that have a small shop but believe it or not, you will find what you are looking for and leave with a whole lot more than you never realized you needed until you accidentally spotted it. Let??s say you were looking for a specific items and they just happened to run out, they will in fact order it for you and let you know when it arrives. This is my one stop art... more
