Called Mr rooter about a leaky kitchen sink Once Ronny the plumber arrived he said the sink drain had to be replaced and then also said the sink was clogged and needed to be "snaked out" We didn't call about a backed up, or slow draining sink, just a leaky sink. I trusted the plumber 35 minutes later we were presented with a $540.00 bill We were shocked, but paid it. When my son and daughter in law came by they said we were cheated. The sink was never clogged or slow draining and we found out after calling several area plumbers we were charged 303.00 for replacing a $25.00 part. Ronny the plumber was here less than 35 minutes we were charged 46.00 for service call, 303.00 to replace the part, and 190.00 to snake out an UNCLOGGED sink After several phone calles to Mr Rooter they finally agreed to refind $190.00 But I was left with 350.99 to pay. Mr Rooter is a rip off and I want it on record.
