Help us make it rightThe Slip Inn has made a name for itself in Dallas due to its unpretentious atmosphere. With it's tatty leather booths, low ceilings and dim lighting, it's a far cry from a chic lounge, but that is where all of its charm lies. The drinks are cheap and the young hipster crowd that swarm there are friendly and approachable. If you're an aspiring DJ go on a monday night because the booth is left...

In Short
Located next to a convenience store, no windows and surrounding low-rent-looking property will intimidate the uninitiated. But this dark, late-night hangout with live DJ, cheap...
I brought some family in to the slip inn. Did not have dink laughing and dancing with friends the bartender just into our conversation anf telling rme I don't like way you are laughing and talking to My friends. Get out. I stood there for a...
Worst bar in Dallas. I don't understand the good reviews. Do they just discriminate against young professional white women? The staff is verbally abusive and the owner is really unstable. The owner picked up my vodka/water and drank it. I thought he was being funny and going to get me another drink. When I asked him if he was going to replace my drink HE KICKED ME OUT OF THE BAR! I couldn't...
If you’ve never been to the Slip Inn, you’ll have misgivings when you roll up to the red-neon-lit door of the tiny dive snuggled up next to a Save-Way with bars on its windows. Ignore those misgivings. The DJ starts spinning every night at 10. Don’t arrive much later than that, because the tiny, L-shaped place gets crazy packed. Expect a mixed crowd, from well-dressed Parkies slumming it to...
Certainly not the fanciest of dance clubs in Dallas, Slip Inn has carved out its niche by being a casual, hole-in-the-wall club. The crowded dance floor lends an underground club feel to the venue, and DJs spin the latest Top 40 and hip-hop hits that get the crowds moving. Nightly happy hours and drink specials are offered, but prime spots near the bar fill up quickly, so be sure to arrive early.
Monday through Saturday, 7am-8pm, get $2 domestics and $3 wells.
Every Monday night from 9pm to close is open turntable night. Local DJs bring their own vinyl and spin for 20-minute sets.
