Skewers is a neighborhood restaurant on Santa Monica. It's focus is skewers of meat, just like the name suggests. Skewers has an exclectic mix of European, Latin and Asian tastes that are knit together by the common theme of the skewer. Since all of the food is healthy and freshly prepared so it usually takes a while for the food to be prepared. However, it is tasy and fresh and generally worth the wait. There is not much parking around, so it is better to walk than drive to Skewers. It's good for lunch or an easy dinner.
Mediterranean fusion dishes include sandwiches, salads, pitas, pasta and skewers, plus a hummus selection and soju bar. Catering is available.

I have not had a better experience walking past a yellow wall than walking by Cooleys. There is no line, lots of outdoor space and is all free!

This place is by far the best yellow wall in west Hollywood. It is long and rectangular, and fits perfectly in between Mother Lode and Chi Chi LaRue's.
