I brought my cat to Gateway for a 4 paw declaw and Dr. McClain did a wonderful job. However when I went to pick my cat up the next day the receptionists said she had to stay an extra night because she had a 4 paw declaw. I told them I was told to pick my cat up today. Carol, the pharmacist, told me they would not sell me heart worm preventative medicine for my dogs unless I got them tested for heartworm. My sister goes there for her 2 dogs and affirmed this was false, not necessary to get them tested if you continue on the medicine. When I called back, another receptionist also confirmed that although it was recommended it was not a necessity. Isn't this... more

I agree with all who have given Dr.'s Bob and Brian great reviews. We have been using their services for 20 plus years. They have taken great care of our dogs. They are knowledgeable and compassionate. The Reception staff leaves much to be desired.
