Well the food taste processed and the prices are way too high. The bacon was almost burned and the wait staff was not friendly at all.

Drove there with my son to check this place out because have heard many good things about it. Now the place is in downtown Marlin a town that is in a fairly depressed area of the state,but go there for the food not the character of the city. Sister's has close to zero ambience but the food more than makes...

While in Marlin visiting my step mom we had lunch at Sister's Restaurant, it was delicious, like Sunday dinner at Grandmas house I thought. I would highly recommend stopping by for lunch,( their hours are 11-2) if you are in the area,good pies also. Jim W.

Sister's serves the BEST chicken fried steak. It was served on one plate and the veggies on another. It was so much food that we had to ask for a take out container. The owners are nice and polite and very helpful. After ordering our food, it was brought to our table. It had a great, personalized small town feel...

We were traveling to Houston and back and stopped at Sister's for lunch both ways, glad we did! The menu is simple and straight forward home-cooking. Everything we had was wonderful! My wife could not decide between the meatloaf, chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken so the owner recommended the chicken fried steak....and then brought her a lovely slice...
