The Scene The Sip & Bite opened in the late 1940s, and not much has changed here since then. The classic diner feel, complete with bar stools and booths, is still intact, and it seems that some of the waitstaff and patrons might have been around at the outset, too. It's cheap, small, old and good. When you walk in you feel like you just DeLoreaned back to 1955. It's a Diner's Diner. You won't find almond crusted Tilapia or Tuna tartar, but you can get a hot, juicy melt in your mouth burger for under $2 bucks. 12/30/2008 - Food was ok and staff was initially courteous during busy time, after hours. We were very understanding, communicating no problem for delay in service...wait staff seemed to be working hard. I've been eating at Sip +bite since 1980.I love the service here.Its nice to be treated good and the food is just like home cooking.From the Roast Beef to the Crab Cakes.

Open 24 hours a day, Sip & Bite offers a wide-variety of food for an affordable price. Voted best crab cake in 2005, it offers seafood to burgers to grilled cheese and soup.
