We were a bit worried given a couple of the reviews we read but we ended up being as happy as we were when we first ate here a couple of years ago. We had the crab and fish cakes which were superb. Then we had a weird but wonderful flatbread with blue cheese. Then we had the smaller plate...

This spot use to be much better. Not sure what's going on with it. The food is Boston prices and quality okay. Nothing great about it. They close by 9:00 on weekends. Use to be much better quality of food and service. Seems like the owner, chef - is either tired of it or wants out. Okay nothing great.

When eating at Sintra, you will feel, like you are in some fancy downtown restaurant. This place is very good, and quite popular with .braintree locals willing to spend some money.
It is off the beaten path, and for you out of owners... Find it. You'll be glad you escaped the sameness of all the restaurants at or near the south...

If you want a little taste of Boston without the parking hassels and the long wait lines, you will enjoy Sintra. I have not been disappointed by anything and I think I have just about gone thru the menu. Sintra...

The service was great as was the food but the place is too small. An intimate setting is great but being overwhelmed by the fragrance the woman at the next table is wearing is not. You are in the middle of the other tables conversation as well. Certainly that out weighs the service and the food.
