Located at the "Pill Hill" end of Capitol Hill, this hotel is comfortable, reasonably priced, and close enough to downtown Seattle that anyone in good condition can walk there. I own a restaurant on the hill, and I reserve at least 25 rooms a year for friends and family at the Silver Cloud Hotel on Broadway Avenue. Every room that I reserve, my wife and I pay for the rooms. I am livid with the service at this hotel. My mother's friend agreed to help at my wedding so I booked a room for her at Silver Cloud. I called to pay for the room over the phone, they needed a faxed copy of the credit card, my driver's licence, a signed credit authorization form, etc. I faxed everything, but they couldn't read the card.
