Sigona's Farmers Market promises the finest quality and best customer service A favorite produce and specialty foods store for lovers of fine dining and gourmet cooking needs since 1975 Sigona's Farmers Market from our family to you
Some people like to hang out in malls or shop for clothes or go to the superstores. I'm not a shopoholic, but I love going to Sigona's in Redwood City. The fresh produce is top quality and not overpriced. Since discovering Sigona's, I have learned to try fruits and vegetables new to my experience and to prepare them in new ways. Knowing where the produce was grown is also important to me...
This place has a farmer's market feel. They have a variety of different fruit and vegetables even some that you're not accustom to. Very fresh produce! The prices are comparable and much better than the pricey whole foods. I love the specialty foods that they carry and everything is very clean. Great fresh breads, dried fruits by the bulk, jams and excellent variety of cheeses. Don't forget...
Whether it's fruit or vegatables, regular or organic, Sigonas is worth the trip. My kids love to go and taste all the fruit samples, and in the summer it's quite a nice place to go and shop. They also have a fantastic floral section at a fraction of the price of any local florist.
I make a special trip to buy my produce from Sigona's, instead of from the grocery store. This location offers the friendliest, most knowledgable staff as well as the best of whatever is in season. I love the free samples, so I can convince my kids to try something new (or not)! The selection is extensive, and the price is reasonable. I like this location (Redwood City) better than the Palo...
Sigona's has been around for years in Redwood City and is owned by a local group of brothers. The store is basically an overgrown fruit stand, but has everything from specialty cheeses, to frozen goods, to gourmet chocolates, sauces, teas, etc.
Meet Carmelo Sigona, Paul Sigona & John Sigona. These three brothers founded Sigona's in 1975 and feel blessed to have their family, such as nephew Robbie Sigona, the Sigona's produce buyer, working by their side. The Sigona brothers started the market out of an absolute love for the delicious flavors of the world. All three brothers are continually dedicated to offering people the very best...

A family-owned specialty grocery and produce market serving the Bay Area Peninsula for more than 30 years.
Three generations of Sigonas work at this landmark, atmospheric farmer's market and gourmet grocery founded in 1975. Products range from locally grown flowers, apples, broccoli and corn to rosewater from Bulgaria. Check out the cheeses, nut butters and a huge olive-oil selection. The wine selection is small but varied, with local Woodside Vineyards, grown and bottled just a couple of miles up...
