Tips About This Business
On the weekends, it's impossible to find street parking so rely on the more expensive, but necessary, lots.
If outdoor seating is full, the bar inside is great for a game of pool or just to hang out.
Monday through Friday, 4pm-7pm, get specials on draft beer and well drinks, as well as bar nibbles.

Nowhere in L.A. is the people-watching better than along Ocean Front Walk. The constantly bustling Sidewalk Café is ensconced in one of Venice's few remaining early-20th-century buildings. The best seats, of course, are out front, around overcrowded open-air tables, all with a perfect view of the crowd, which provides nonstop entertainment. The location is great. Well, that's about all that is good here. It's a nice place to eat breakfast, but only for the location. The food is average at best, and the prices are not competitive. Come once and enjoy the view, but you won't come back for the food.
This place is so dang overrated! It's average food served by the beach, so of course, it's overpriced. Last time we visited, my burger was full of chewy fat strings & I hardly ate. Service is alright & the place is always busy. The best part is eating by the ocean.
if you're visiting from out of town or if you're entertaining guests from out of town, i can't think of a better place to have a few drinks and take in the Venice scene than sidewalk cafe.
