I used to think this was a cool neighborhood spot, but it has changed tremendously. To begin with, there's nothing but men there... hardly any women, if any at all. The type of guys that go are slimy russian armenian men who are ready to fight if you even look at them the wrong way. The last couple of time I have gone, there was no dee-j, just the radio playing. Great deco, relaxing atmosphere, great staff and a truly diverse mix of people. The music is off the hook with plenty of room to dance. it's overall a very comfortable place.
The best thing about it is that you dont have to drop a small fortune, the drinks are very reasonably priced, but are packed with alcohol.

An ideal lounge when you want to avoid the traffic, parking and people of Hollywood. Great atmosphere with a great staff. Drink prices are half and the portions are double that of Hollywood bars.
And did I mention that they showcase great young local talent? Pick a night of the week and see what's going on at Sidebar. Keep up the good work.
