I think most Bostonians don't even consider a hotel bar when going out. I was included in that category until recently. SideBar is the most unique bar in the city. This place is fantastic if you want an upscale spot for a cocktail after work, but without the crowded elbow-to-elbow scene of other Back Bay spots.
There are plenty of TV's to catch the game... but not obtrusive like a sportsbar.
You should really check this place out... I am sure you'll keep coming back.

We stayed at the Sheraton for 10 nights and thoroghly enjoyed the experience. The Hotel staff were very pleasant and obliging, they even allowed us to check in early and have a late check out..
